Einige Anstiege lie\u00dfen unsere Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit sinken und wir waren f\u00fcr die heute gefahrenen gut 100&nbsp;km recht lange unterwegs. W\u00e4hrend der letzten 20&nbsp;km vor Tennant Creek frischte der (Gegen-)Wind noch einmal kr\u00e4ftig auf.<\/p>\n<p>Die Suche nach einer Unterkunft dauerte diesmal l\u00e4nger als \u00fcblich. Wir hatten uns vorgenommen, eine kleine Pause in dieser ehemaligen Goldgr\u00e4berstadt einzulegen. Da es tags\u00fcber sehr hei\u00df ist und dann der Aufenthalt im Zelt beinahe unm\u00f6glich ist, wollten wir ein Hotel- oder Motelzimmer mieten. Diese waren uns jedoch zu teuer und wir fuhren schlie\u00dflich doch zum Caravan Park. Dort mieteten wir eine sog. Cabin, die einem Mobilheim \u00e4hnelt und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet ist.
